The Kingdom of Wu 吳
Wu was a state during the Spring and Autumn period. The people of Wu were considered to be masters at metallurgy, who were able to create fantastic swords, often incised with messages and beautiful geometric patterns.
The rulers of Wu claim to be descended from the uncle of King Wen of Zhou, Taibo. Wu was constantly in a state of warfare with the state of Chu since Wu attacked them in 584BC. However, Wu was eventually taken over by the state of Yue, an upstart state to it’s south.
The Gall Bladder has much to do with pride, both in craftsmanship and lineage. When pathological, that pride can manifest in such a way that a person (or country) is unable to see beyond it’s own ego and connection to itself.
The Gall Bladder rests on a Water stem, and this can be seen in it’s constant need to feel connected to it’s ancestral line.
